The Sequential Figure and Ground project was meant to exemplify figure and ground techniques. This design was used to make a figure ground reversal in halfway through the piece. The strong organization of an obvious line throughout the piece drawers the viewers eye to the changing in figures (from black to white) and to make a focal point at this change. In the smaller areas letters are used to make interesting shapes throughout the piece.
