My name is Christian Carlson. I am a Graphic Design student at MSU. I love to illustrate, be outside, and be around my friends. I am very active in a Christian ministry on campus called Chi Alpha. I want to put my illustrations into the world. While I was majoring in computer science, I was inspired to pursue Graphic Design because of the web design class I took. This allowed me to use my computer science knowledge for something creative which was much more exciting for me than what I was doing at the time. I am also interested in Game Design, but MSU does not offer a major for it. I thought that the graphic design program would be the closest to game design. I loved making the board game in my foundations class and I am taking a basic video game design class next year. I really want to combine my interests: illustration, computers, design, and writing stories.
