The “Something Was Wrong” podcast by Tiffany Reese is a true-crime style podcast that features people’s real life stories of domestic abuse. Its a very personal and in depth study of these horrible scenarios that really happened. Tiffany’s goals are to help educate people about abuse so that everyone, and women especially, can be protected from future abusive relationships. This design captures the suspenseful nature along with the calming, feminine, and personal tone the show had. The calming and feminine tone is shown in the colors throughout the process, but the original pink and yellow was a little abrasive on the eyes and the hidden WRONG was really hard to read. The class final used opacity and line objects to hide the word WRONG behind the Something Was to create a sort of suspense. The colors now slightly less resemble the tone but heighten the message so much more. The end result singled out the word “wrong” and used more type manipulation to break up the letters. This makes the title more legible, while keeping suspense.
